This is getting kinda ridiculous, An-chan. When are you moving in? I asked you to stay weeks ago, you know, and you're practically living here already.

This is not me saying I'll put up with you if you really have to and you don't have anywhere else to go. This is me saying I want you here, and I'm asking you to stay, and this is the last time you get asked before I start telling you.

...you can quit the caveman routine ANY TIME, niichan. -_-;

You realise I won't sit around and be all nice and quiet and let you say and do whatever you please, right? I am still the same old nag as I used to be when we lived at home. I cook better now than then, though.

Also, I get to pay my part of the rent.

From: [identity profile] curious-kit.livejournal.com

Why the hell not?! That's no good, Kippei. I work and pay my own way, thank you very much. You do NOT get to pay the whole rent if I'm living there, too!

From: [identity profile] ariuhtahn.livejournal.com

Who says there is any rent? Anyway no way am I charging my sister for a place to live. You can pay your way other ways--such as making me happy knowing that you're here, and cooking since I can't, and whatever.

From: [identity profile] curious-kit.livejournal.com

Dude, I'm your sister, not your little wife you get to provide for. If we're living together, we're splitting the costs. We will work out the budgets together and the costs. will. be. split. fairly. Oh, how they will be most MIGHTILY split. My economy is quite healthy, probably more than you realise. --#

Why wouldn't there be rent, anyway? Did you rob a bank and buy the place, or what?

From: [identity profile] ariuhtahn.livejournal.com

God forbid I had a wife like you. All I meant is that I'm going to be paying for the place regardless, so there's no reason why you should have to.

And dude, I would not have had to rob a bank. I make good money, you know.

From: [identity profile] curious-kit.livejournal.com

A wife like me would the the only woman who'd be able to run your damn house, you caveman twit!

Yeah, I get that, Kippei-nii. But see, if you get a roomie -- me -- then you can put some of those $$$ away. Build up funds, yaknow. Just like I've been doing and will keep on doing. And seriously, I can't accept a deal like this. Regardless of how I look at it, it would be mooching. I don't mooch. Not even on my brother. Hell, I even tried to pay for food when... Nevermind.

You make good money, but you have a house and a car. Those don't come for free.

From: [identity profile] ariuhtahn.livejournal.com

Whatever, fine, you can pay the utilities then or something. I have more than enough to pay my rent and still save as it is, or I wouldn't be living here. You don't owe me anything.

From: [identity profile] curious-kit.livejournal.com

Argh. Okay, we'll go over the budgets in person later. I just want some kind of balance to this. 'Sides, we're both coming out on top from a split so I don't see what the big deal is.

And I owe you plenty. Don't think I'll ever stop owing you, but that's got nothing to do with money.

From: [identity profile] ariuhtahn.livejournal.com

70-30. That's better than a quarter. Just take it.

Maybe I just like taking care of you. Since I can't do it any other way, god knows.

From: [identity profile] curious-kit.livejournal.com

50-50, niichan. Just like we always have.

Sometimes I wish I was four and going-to-marry-niichan again. :) You can take care of me, but in the way I really need, okay? Food and shelter is not on that list.

From: [identity profile] curious-kit.livejournal.com

I guess I am, yeah. Thank you, niichan, I'm looking forward to it. ♥
